We have been advised by Royal Mail, and has been reported across most major news outlets in the UK, that they are facing significant delays in their network.

While they are doing everything they can to provide a normal level of service we have noticed a major degradation in the last few days. 

A number of delivery depots and sorting offices are facing complete shutdowns or are operating at significantly reduced capacity due to COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.

Royal Mail confirmed this week that staff absences are almost double the level of 2018, before the coronavirus pandemic. With the increase in post due to Christmas, this is having a major impact.

As of late we have seen a number of orders awaiting collection from customs by Royal Mail for 5-10 days. Unfortunately in these situations there is nothing we as a business are able to do to speed up collection and delivery of these orders as much as we would like to. Additionally we are unable to offer refunds for items that are due to be, but have not yet been, delivered by the Royal Mail. We will of course still accept returns for these orders for full refunds. To accomodate this we are temporarily extending our returns window to from 14-days to 30-days after delivery.

Due to these unforeseen circumstances we are advising that customers requiring delivery before Christmas to not place an order. Orders placed under these circumstances are at your own risk and will not be refunded due to late delivery unless returned to us first.
